CLEAR Lab's 2021 YPAR Cohort used PhotoVoice to document and highlight environmental justice issues in the Richmond, CA community and their effects on local health outcomes. One of the goals of the Environmental Justice Youth PhotoVoice Project (EJPP) was to advocate for changes in public policy that may result in improvements in health disparities. The students also sought to spread awareness to members of their community and demonstrate how individuals' voices and actions can make an impact.
