Dr. Leslie Seijo is a pulmonary critical care fellow at UCSF. She completed her residency in internal medicine from Mount Sinai Beth Israel and later became Chief Resident at the same institution. Dr. Seijo is interested in health disparities research, using implementation science methods to address gaps in care for vulnerable patients with end-stage lung disease and lung transplant. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
Dr. Rebecca Sugrue is a postdoctoral scholar working on our PROTECT study. She completed her PhD in environmental engineering at the University of California, Berkeley where she researched low-cost methods for the monitoring and mitigation of diesel particulate matter in environmental justice communities in California. She is interested in improving our estimates of wildfire smoke pollution and the related disparities of the exposure-response relationship for most short-term health outcomes of concern, including respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Sean Thavyxay is an Administrative Analyst whose primary goal is providing administrative support and assistance for our CARE, REACH, and RISE studies, along with the Tuberculosis Research Program. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and previously worked as a student assistant at the UC Davis ORSP. Outside of the work environment, his interests involve playing, watching, and occasionally coaching soccer and spending time with his close friends, family, and cat.
Morgan Ye is a Research Data Analyst. She conducts statistical analysis and data management for all Clear Lab research projects. She received a Masters in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics.
